Gloria O. Pasadilla

Gloria O. Pasadilla is Partner and Business Director of Leadership Design Pte, Ltd, and undertakes economic consultancy from Singapore. Previously, she was Senior Analyst at APEC Policy Support Unit in Singapore where she led and undertook research projects on digital trade, services, global value chains, non-tariff measures, e-commerce, digital payments, and others. She had presented in APEC Senior Officials Meetings and Trade Ministers on various trade issues, especially on services, digital trade and e-commerce. Prior to joining PSU, she was Research Fellow at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Institute in Tokyo, as well as Research Fellow at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, a premier research think-tank in the Philippines. She was also a trade negotiator, leading the Philippine team in negotiating the services chapter of the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreements. She holds a PhD in Economics from New York University, USA; Master in International Law and Economics (summa cum laude) from the World Trade Institute in Bern, Switzerland; and Master in Economics from both the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines, and New York University, USA; and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines.
